New Here?

Welcome! We’re happy you’re here!

25 years ago, we created the Virtual Assistant profession, and committed ourselves to doing two things:

  1. Helping women in the US and Canada who want to be terrific virtual assistants start and grow businesses on their own terms, and
  2. Helping clients connect with our wonderfully trained VAs in the US and Canada to get the help they desperately need and so richly deserve.

As we’ve reached this milestone, it’s become apparent to us that we want evolve and make some changes.

A big part of that is that we will no longer be training VAs. Whew. That was a HUGE decision, because training VAs has been part of the soul of our company.

Now, our commitment is to:

  1. Supporting the VAs we’ve trained to continue their growth and the growth of their businesses.
  2. Helping clients connect with our wonderfully trained VAs in the US and Canada to get the help they desperately need and so richly deserve.
  3. Being a resource for anyone who wants to understand the highest and best we see for this profession, and for VAs and client relationships.

If you’ve landed here, but are interested in finding one of our talented graduates to work with, click here to be automagically transported to the site we built just for you!

But, if you’re a VA or you want to become one, please read on to see what we can offer to you.

If you’re like many of the VAs we’ve trained you’re here because you want something new, or possibly more of something—more freedom, more money, more time for the things that really matter to you, and possibly less of something—probably a crappy job and/or crappy boss.

Does any of that sound like you? If so, you’re in good company. We believe literally everyone feels that way at some point.

And we know how that feels because everyone at AssistU, from our Founder, Anastacia Brice, to our team members, to the VAs we’ve trained has experienced it. And that’s partly why Anastacia created AssistU and continues to be invested in the lives of VAs and the clients who want to work with them.

Because you’re new to us (we figure you wouldn’t still be reading this if you weren’t!), we wanted to put together a page of info to scan with some quick links to help you find your way around.

Four Steps to What You Need to Know

  1. Read our story and get to know our team. If you don’t like us, you won’t want to stick around and find out more. You can also read what our grads think about us and what they’ve found in working with us.
  2. Get a sense of what we think is important about working as a VA by reading our blog posts. You also might enjoy reading what she writes for clients of VAs.
  3. Looking for a coach? Anastacia, who has more history in this profession than anyone, is also a professional coach of 16 years, and has a variety of ways you can work with her.
  4. Have more questions—or need other resources? Connect live with Anastacia during her Office Hours; she would love to spend some time with you (and psssst…there’s no charge for it!). If you’d rather, you can just email us. We’re happy to help wherever we can.

We look forward to getting to know you!
