“I love being able to share my experience so that perhaps someone else can avoid some of the mistakes I made and get there just a bit quicker than I did!”
What I Do at AssistU
In my role as mentor, I like to think of myself as part cheerleader, part coach. Starting a new business that turns in to a truly sustainable and profitable business can be challenging when you’re trying to go about it alone. My goal is to be there as both a resource and a source of encouragement – someone who’s “been there and done that” in order to help my mentees set themselves up for long term success in businesses they truly enjoy.
My Bio
I’m Australian and have been in the US since 1996.
Prior to starting my VA business in 2002, I was in the advertising and fashion industries. In 2003, I graduated from the Virtual Training Program and have been in business ever since. For the first few years, I was a generalist, working with a variety of business owners. Then, I decided to specialize in an area that I was very passionate about – working with holistic health and wellness coaches.
By day, I help my clients with program strategy and implementation, automating systems, marketing, client services and day to day administration. By night, I’m a wife and mother of two and you’ll often find me in the kitchen experimenting with raw vegan chocolate desserts.
I’m very passionate about AssistU. For years, I’ve been actively involved in the community by hosting Town Meeting calls, participating in the internship program, regularly communicating with my VA peers and helping new VAs. It’s truly my privilege to be part of the Virtual Mentoring Team.

Quirky Things About Me
- I’ve lived in Australia, Greece, Germany, England, and the USA.
- At one point in my life, I was more fluent in Greek than in English.
- I work in absolute silence all day long, except when I’m on the phone.
- I always look at the dessert menu in a restaurant before reviewing the entrees.
- I love arts and crafts; one day I’ll be scrapbooking and the next I’ll be painting glass, making soap, or trying to figure out how to make a wreath!
What I Love Most About AssistU
I love the relationships that I get to enjoy with my fellow VA “sisters”. Whether we’re meeting together on a phone call, video chat or in person, there’s always camaraderie, fun to be had and an abundance of knowledge to be shared. It’s a truly giving and non-competitive environment that I’m proud to be a member of!
